1. Return & Exchange Eligibility

You can request a return or exchange if the product you received:

  • Has a manufacturing defect or is damaged during transit
  • Is different from what you ordered

     

  • Is incomplete, missing any parts or accessories that were originally included
  • Arrives in a condition that makes it unsuitable for use

     

2. Important Conditions for Returns

To qualify for a return or exchange:

  • The product must be unused, clean, and in the original condition, including all tags, labels, manuals, warranty cards, and accessories.
  • All original packaging materials, including boxes and protective wraps, must be returned intact.
  • You must provide clear evidence of the issue with the product — such as photos or videos taken immediately after receiving the package. This helps us understand the problem and speed up your claim.
  • Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 48 hours of receiving the product by contacting our customer support. Delays beyond this window may make the product ineligible for return.

3. Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

The following products cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Products with physical damage caused by the customer (scratches, burns, broken parts)
  • Items that are personal hygiene products or undergarments

     

  • Digital goods, software, or downloadable content

     

  • Items sold as clearance or final sale

     

  • Products missing their original seals or security stickers

     

  • Products that are incompatible with third-party devices or software (customers should verify compatibility before purchase)
  • Any gift items or promotional products received free with purchase
  • Products that are not in a resaleable condition

     

4. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To start the return or exchange process:

  • Provide your order details, reason for return/exchange, and any supporting evidence such as photos or videos. Without any video evidence, the return is not acceptable.

5. Return Shipping and Handling

  • If the return is due to a fault on our part (damaged, wrong, or defective product), Al Basit Store will cover the cost of return shipping within Dhaka 50 taka and across Bangladesh 100 taka; the rest will be covered by the customer.
  • If the return is initiated for other reasons (change of mind, compatibility issues, etc.), the customer is responsible for return shipping charges.
  • Please ensure the product is securely packed to avoid any further damage during transit.
  • We recommend using a trackable courier service to return your product for security.

6. Refund Process

  • Once we receive the returned product and verify its condition, we will process your refund.
  • Refunds will be made via the original payment method or as mutually agreed.
  • Refunds typically take 3 to 7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on the payment provider.
  • If you received any discounts, cashback, or promotional gifts as part of your order, these may be deducted from your refund.

7. Warranty Claims

  • For products covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, please contact us with your purchase details and warranty documentation.
  • We will assist in coordinating warranty service or repairs as per the manufacturer’s terms.
